What We Believe

God

We believe in only one true God, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and all that is within them. Our God exists in three distinct persons, known as the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three are equal, yet perform unique functions.

Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit in the virgin Mary's womb, was fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as atonement for all of humanity's sin. We believe in his death, burial, and bodily resurrection. We believe He sits at the right hand of the Father and He will return to Earth again.

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit possesses all attributes of Deity and is equal with the other two members of the Trinity; God the Father and God the Son. The Holy Spirit equips believers upon conversion and guides, convicts, counsels, leads and teaches.

Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ died as the only sufficient sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. We believe Jesus Christ is the only pathway to eternal life.

Scriptures

We believe all sixty-six books of the Old Testament & New Testament are God-breathed and completely true. Because of this, we use the Word of God as the foundation for all our teachings, written tools, and events.

Church

For those who have placed their belief in God through His Son, Jesus Christ, they are part of the body of Christ. We believe the church is the community of God here on earth and exists to reach those far from Christ, as well as to disciple believers. Brooke believes passionately in the local church, her teachings and resources are in no way an alternative to the local church, and she rejects any notion of competing with the local church. She seeks to partner with churches across the country and encourages every believer to belong to and be an active part of their local church.

Humanity

We believe that every single person was made in the image of God, but all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Because of this our imperfections have caused eternal separation from God. We believe that the forgiveness of sins, the promise of eternal life, and the reconciled union with God are available to all people who accept the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Non-Salvation-Bearing Issues

We believe that the Trinity, Jesus Christ being fully God, His resurrection and atoning work on the cross, and salvation by grace through faith are the salvation-bearing essentials to the Christian faith. In regards to these essentials, we believe there can be no conflicting opinions to those who call themselves believers of Jesus. With that being said, we also recognize that there are a number of non-salvation-bearing issues that have value but are not imperative to the believer as it relates to salvation. (Examples of these include: timing of the rapture, functions of women in ministry, use of certain spiritual gifts, etc.) While Brooke has her own stances on each of these issues, she refuses to allow these issues to cause division among the body of believers since it does not effect salvation.
